Classic Cars, Football, and Live Music In Allen, TX. This Weekend

Allen, TX. residents will find a wide variety of activities available this weekend to help celebrate Father’s Day. Watters Creek will be hosting a car show organized by the car enthusiasts group Morning Maniacs from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Organizers are expecting up to 100 cars divided into 24 different classes. For those that would like to enter a vehicle in the show, there is a $15 entry fee that will benefit Allen VFW Post 2195. There will be awards presented for each class as well as for best in show and fan favorite.

The fun continues as Watters Creek presents the Bon Jovi tribute band Blaze of Glory as part of their Concerts by the Creek series. The concert is from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. so bring some blankets and settle down On the Green for some Rock N’ Roll music. You may want to treat Dad to some take out fare from one of Allen’s many great restaurants located in Watters Creek while he enjoys the show. For more information and details see the link below.

If your dad is a football fan, then how about an evening of hard hitting action with the Texas Revolution of the Indoor Football League. The games are played at the Allen Events Center and Saturday night’s game begins at 7:00 p.m. against the Sioux Falls Storm. The IFL is the world’s largest indoor professional football league.
